The Denon CEOL RCD-N12DAB is a neat and attractive mini hi-fi system with a vast range of connectivity. Built-in, you’ll find class-leading music streaming options with Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, HEOS and Internet radio all at hand. There’s also a CD player and DAB/FM tuner radio. Connectivity is equally impressive, with an HDMI ARC input for your TV, phonostage for your turntable and digital and analogue AUX inputs for your games console and other device. There’s even a USB-A interface for connecting your media device and playing Hi-Res music files.
The complete networking experience
With both Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 connectivity it's easy to connect all your smartphones, tablets and compatible laptops and stream music wirelessly. The CEOL RCD-N12 also comes with wi-fi, Internet radio and Network Audio Streaming. Simply connect to your home network via Ethernet or wi-fi and access thousands of Internet radio sites via TuneIn as well as subscription services such as Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Prime and many more. Network Audio Streaming lets you stream from other sources such as your laptop or NAS drive.
HEOS built-in and ROON ready - for the finest multi-room audio
HEOS multi-room music systems connect together by dual-band Wi-Fi, making them easy to set up with your existing home network. Up to 32 HEOS units can be set up at one time, ensuring even the largest of homes are covered for multi-room music. With HEOS already built-in, the RCD-N12 is ready to go as a single 'zone' without any further adaptors. Alternatively, the RCD-N12 is ROON ready, letting you incorporate it into a ROON compatible multiroom system.
Control it all with the HEOS app
Once you've set up your HEOS speaker system, you can stream music effortlessly via the dedicated HEOS app. Available for Apple iOS and Android, the app not only lets you stream your stored music but also Internet radio services and popular streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Napster and Deezer.
Use with your choice of voice assistant
Compatible with Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant, the RCD-N12DAB works with your voice assistant of choice. For Alexa or Google Assistant control, simply download the HEOS app. Pair your Echo device if you’re using Alexa and you’re good to go – adjust the volume, skip to the next track and switch inputs simply by asking Alexa or Google. For control via Siri, simply link the amp via Apple AirPlay 2 and enjoy voice interaction and AirPlay 2 multi-room support.
Connect it all – from turntable to TV
Featuring an HDMI ARC socket, this is the ideal way to connect your TV and enjoy a significant boost in sound quality. For added convenience, the system will even learn your TV’s remote volume, letting you stick to a single remote for TV viewing. For connecting your games console, set-top TV box or other device there are optical digital and analogue RCA inputs. A built-in phono stage means that the RCD-N12DAB is even compatible with your turntable.
CD player
As a further bonus, the CEOL RCD-N12DAB features a built-in CD player. This high quality player is ideal for keeping your existing CD collection in play. For added flexibility, it also plays CDRWs plus MP3 and WMA music files stored on disc.
DAB+/DAB/FM radio
Another very handy feature is the built in DAB/FM tuner radio. A choice of DAB+, DAB and FM gives you access to a wide range of local and national stations. For ease of use, RDS (Radio Data System) is included on the FM tuner.
Powerful, Denon sound
Featuring a punchy 65 watt amp (at 4 ohms), the CEOL RCD-N12 is powerful for its size. Compatible with FLAC HD, ALAC, WAV and DSD music files, it’s also the ideal system for playing back Hi-Res music files.
