Compact yet powerful – perfect for smaller rooms
With its compact dimensions and smooth, rounded styling, the REL T/5x is one of the most stylish yet least obtrusive subwoofers in its class. Small enough to fit behind and to the side of furniture, the T/5x is ideal for tight spaces and discreet installations. Power it up, however, and the powerful 125 watt amp and 8 inch sub will leave you in doubt that this is a true REL, through and through.

Punchy bass
Using a base-mounted, 8 inch woofer, the T/5x uses the floor to spread bass all around your room. This not only gives you real punch at lower frequencies, but also the feeling of the bass being all around you – just like with REL’s larger subwoofers.

High current 125 watt amplifier for vice-like grip
Keeping the bass cone under tight control is REL's tried and tested 125 watt Class A/B amplifier. Unlike other active subwoofers that use digital amplifiers, REL have stuck to the more traditional Class A/B transistor design. Although more expensive to produce, the upside is class-leading attack and control. The bass starts and stops exactly when it should, with superb agility and no 'overhang' to its response.

Separate levels pre-set for your hi-fi and home cinema
If you use your subwoofer for both home cinema and hi-fi, the REL T/5x is ideal. Traditionally, the problem with using a sub with both home cinema and music systems is the difference in presence required. Whereas films often require the sub to be turned up for the greatest thrills, music demands a more subtle approach. With the REL T/5x you get separate level controls for stereo and LFE .1 surround. This means you get the ideal levels for both hi-fi and AV, without the need to constantly change the settings.

Wireless capable*
Add the optional REL Arrow system and make this REL wireless. The REL Arrow system uses a zero compression, wireless connection for the ultimate balance of sound quality and convenience. Just like the T-Series subs, the Arrow transmitter features dedicated inputs for hi-fi and home cinema.
