Slim and stylish, the Marantz Stereo 70s proves that top quality sound doesn’t have to come at the expense of style.
AVR versatility, from a slimline stereo receiver
With all the features that you’d expect to find in a high-spec AV receiver, yet with a stereo output, the Marantz Stereo 70s has a unique appeal. Using a slimline casing, it’s also easier to accommodate than many receivers and even stereo amps – especially when you take into account the Stereo 70s’s built-in network streamer.
Super stylish
With its curved styling and neat detailing, such as the porthole display, this Marantz receiver stands out from the crowd. Every element of the design is carefully considered, with even the volume dial perfectly weighted for the best control. The Stereo 70s also fits where others won’t. At just 109mm tall, it's around half the height (or less) of a typical AV receiver and less than many stereo amps, too.
Smooth, powerful sound
Despite its compact casing, the Stereo 70s delivers ample power and premium sound quality. Tuned by Marantz’s Sound Masters in Japan, the clarity, space and warmth of sound is meticulously balanced. Marantz’s own HDAM, discrete circuits help reduce distortion to the lowest levels possible. With its powerful 75 watt output, the Stereo 70s has ample in reserve, even in larger rooms.
Wide choice of network streaming options as standard
With wi-fi, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2, it's easy to connect all your smartphones, tablets and compatible lap/desktops and stream music wirelessly. Simply connect to your home network via Ethernet or wi-fi and access thousands of Internet radio sites via TuneIn as well as subscription services such as Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Deezer, Amazon Music HD and more (premium accounts may be required).
HEOS built-in - for the finest multi-room audio
HEOS multi-room music systems connect together by dual-band wi-fi, making them easy to set up with your existing home network. Up to 32 HEOS units can be set up at one time, ensuring even the largest homes are covered for multi-room music. With HEOS already built-in, the Stereo 70s is ready to go as a single 'zone' without any further adaptors.
DAB+ radio built-in
As well as the widest range of streaming options, this Marantz stereo receiver also features an FM/DAB+ tuner radio. Perfect for when you just want some background music, DAB+ (digital) radio offers a wide range of stations, including the popular BBC 6 Music and 4 Extra.
Connect everything from a TV to a turntable
With six HDMI inputs (3x 8K and 3x 4K), the Marantz has you covered for connecting all your HDMI-equipped devices. A range of digital and analogue inputs are provided, and there’s a further, dedicated MM phono input for plugging in a turntable. Twin subwoofer and pre-amp outputs complete the comprehensive connectivity.
Compatible with 8K and the latest technologies
With six HDMI inputs, the Stereo 70s is ready for the most extensive AV systems. Three of the HDMI inputs and the HDMI output meet the HDMI 2.1 standard, meaning they support 8K, 4K/120Hz signals and more. The Stereo 70s also supports the latest copy protection standard, HDCP 2.3, through all its HDMI sockets.
A gaming advantage
The enhanced HDMI interface makes this slimline Marantz stereo receiver ideal for pairing with the latest games consoles. There’s support for 4K/120Hz and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), giving you the best resolution and clarity. Quick Frame Transport (QFT) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) help eliminate lag and frame tearing, giving you a smoother, more responsive gaming experience.
Wide-ranging HDR support
The Stereo 70s supports a wide range of High Dynamic Range video formats. These include Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. It also supports HDR10+, which enhances picture realism by sending dynamic Meta data to your TV, as well as Dynamic HDR. In short, whatever the format used by the film, game or stream, the Marantz supports it.
Connect your entire system, in style, with the Marantz Stereo 70s.
